************************************************************It has been almost two weeks since the naming ceremony during which I was re-birthed as Jaia Dax Be. What a feeling of transformation that has been present. I am so thankful for all the witnesses at the ceremony and the presence of Jasmin Starrchild to guide the journey through the naming ceremony. I feel her presence leant an authenticity, depth and powerful connection to spirit throughout the process of devising the ceremony and during the rites themselves.
Before speaking with Jasmin I had some ego-response to the notion and some fear about the idea of accepting a new name. I worried I would be confusing people, or how to explain to others why that process was important to me. Talking with Jasmin really helped me be clear why I was accepting a name that had been given to me, ostensibly, for the third time. Her experience with ritual and depth of knowledge of and feeling for the spirit realms, dispelled all doubt by asking exactly the right questions to help me align the concept of a new name (a mental construct of identity) with the higher purposes of my path. I accepted the gift of the name as an honour because it honours the Sun god (the divine masculine) and symbolizes my life's work to call the light through me. The process of the ritual really felt like a re-birth. All cords were cut, save for that golden thread of unconditional love connecting me to my distant son-shine Onyx Christopher Bradford. So much magic has happened since the ceremony I cannot help but feel this was decided before I was born and that I am acting out and working through some truly inspired and angelic energies to bring light into the world.
